Another successful collaboration is ensured with the teaming up of Puma with master
designer Alexander McQueen. The AMQ Ribcage Sport (photo above) is one Puna and
AMQ ’s 13 collection release for its Autumn/Winter collection. The theme of
this season’s collection is centered on the sport of boxing, with “Power”
as the main motivation and reference of the whole collaboration.
McQueen worked around the concept of human anatomy in his design. With the above model
dubbed AMQ Ribcage Sport” and the colors identified as dress blues fennel seed, it
features a mixture of canvas, leather and plastic in the ribcage. Unique and
revolutionary with a 3D sole that changes color when hit by the light, McQueen complete
the look with his embossed name on the heel. This model comes in two colorway options.
